Peter Rolfe Mental Health and Wellbeing Trainer Biography
I have lived experience of mental health issues. This enables me to deliver in a unique way to bring the course to life and enable my students to have a real understanding of mental health in order to better identify and support colleagues in distress. I am qualified to deliver all three of the MHFA adult courses.
For a period of 5 years prior to MHFA training, I delivered specialist courses at the NHS’ first mental health recovery college providing vital education in the mainstream diagnosed conditions, addressing issues such as: what are early warning signs, triggers and strategies to combat distress and crisis.
I am also a board member of Life Long Learning Wandsworth, providing advice on mental health issues and policy.
In the 20 years preceding involvement in the mental health field I founded and managed my own estate agency business that flourished and expanded to 3 offices engaging a team of 15 and was consistently a top quartile performer.
In summary I have delivered MHFA and bespoke courses engaging with a wide range of partners, including the Metropolitan police, Hitachi, Virgin Atlantic, Head teachers in SW London, Church of England, Barclays Bank, Wandsworth Prison services and Park Plaza Hotels and Resorts
